Well, you can't really compile a lambdaCORE, and if any compiling is done,
it's when the DB loads. (A db is a core.) you must mean the lambda
'server'. (As opposed to the LPMOO server.)

For beginners, the lambdaCore itself works great with the lambda server.
it's available at parc.xerox.com/pub/MOO/LambdaCore-DATE.Z or something
like that...
