Ok, I wrote a CHR() and ASC() pair of patches.  They go into list.c and 
numbers.c respectively.

I did post them previously, and they should be in the archives 
somewhere.  However, I've attached them to this message which MIGHT get 
through if MOO-Cows allows it to.

If it doesn't, you can ftp to iman.internet.co.nz (202.36.38.129) where I 
have put them in my /pub directory.

However, iman is my Linux PC, and is not always connected to the net, so 
you'll just have to try and get on at the same time as me.  Also, I 
connect via a 14.4k modem, so you will experience some lag :^)

To patch, copy the attached files to your moo source code directory, and
type:

  gzip -cd list.c-chr.patch.gz | patch

And do the same for the other file.
