MAJOr wierd problems with 1.8.0p4

I've got folks becoming wizards and it not showing up i nthe log as to 
who did it.. I got properties dissapearing at random same goes for verbs. 
umm.. the moo when it shutsdown should complete the shutdown and do a 
checkpoint uhh uh.. 

I do

restart moo port

abd when it comes back up I got 10 sec left before the shutdown according 
to the logs it never did shut fully down..

WIERD!!!

"anyone wanna make any comments suggets.. and NO.. nothing is in the 
logs..
