after a little work, my archive in england is now running pretty well - 
at the moment, it's just things us brits dont want to spend all day 
ftp'ing from the US like the standard cores and sources, and several 
tutorials and things.. there's also a few patches sitting around too - if 
there's anything else you'd like to see put there, let me know :)

as i say, it's primarily of interest to people outside the US, but it's 
not that slow really :)
