Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's absolutely trivial to implement a OS-level
task size limit under unix.  But your solution solves nothing.  A> all moos
grow over time, due not only to user growth but also to memory fragmentation.
b> restarting, for example, LambdaMOO itself, takes well over two hours. 
C> once you panic a 300-mb process, I'd suspect virtual memory will be so
fragmented that the machine will be unusable until you reboot it anyway...
